A nu subscription is better for our planet and can help keep more money in your wallet.
It can be better for your wallet because the monthly instalments are reduced because you will send the phone back at the end of the subscription. Buying a new phone can be costly – you either have to pay a big cost upfront or the device is only available on a plan when combined with an expensive SIM plan. With nu, you can get the phone you really want (you may be able to get a better one than you expected!) and pay for it monthly, with or without a SIM plan attached (which could also mean more savings). Your decision is better for the planet because once you’re done with your phone you hand it back and we’ll give it a nu home or recycle it responsibly. We believe that every little bit counts, so we have a roadmap of initiatives to further reduce the impact on our planet, one phone at a time. As a first step, for every phone on subscription with nu, we will:
2. Re-use your returned phone and find it a new home with a customer, or
3. Recycle your returned phone responsibly through AMTA's MobileMuster program (or other recycle partners we work with)
